Now here’s a 2-in-1 breakfast – healthy, but DELICIOUS. This easy-to-make recipe will taste better than banana bread but is high on protein at the same time!

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1 scoop Optimum Nutrition Protein Shake – Creamy Vanilla powder
  • 1 chocolate protein crunch bar
  • 1 tbsp powdered peanut butter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¾ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) banana, sliced
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • Total: 25 min.
  • Pre-heat your waffle maker to medium heat.
  • While that’s happening, take a bowl; add some flower, Optimum Nutrition Protein Shake – Creamy Vanilla powder, powdered peanut butter, cinnamon and baking powder. Mix it well.
  • Mash some banana until its smooth, then add Greek yogurt, almond milk and vanilla extract. Mix this well, too.
  • Now combine the wet and dry ingredients to create a batter.
  • Spray some non-stick spray on the waffle iron and pour the batter evenly into it. Cook until golden brown.
  • Take out the yummy waffles. Add sliced bananas or sugar-free maple syrup as you deem fit.
